I got the book for a class, and I've found it fairly easy to read. But the quirks in the Kindle version have almost made me ready to spend the exobinant amount to get it on another platform.Besides not being able to reflow the text (which means I have to scroll up and down on my larger tablet), the possibly deal breaking quirk is that although the page itself is written in two colomns, when I highlight text it highlights across the page (yes both columns). This means that in order to highlight a section I have to break it up line by line (and any hyphenated words leave bits highlighted on the other column). Doing this slows down my reading and breaks up my train of thought. I don't have the time for this. Ah well.

This was a required text for an environmental anthropology class I attended last semester at BSU.
