Good book. It offered many things to consider. I would recommend the book for those who are not interested in polyamory or being a slut. In general the focus of the book was to reflect about yourself and gain a greater understanding of how that relates to your communication style in relation to others. I found it useful and I have also used some of the ideology when working with clients interested in polyamory or just in understanding and asserting themselves more in romantic or other partnerships.

This is a must read for everyone who is in a relationship, regardless of their view regarding monogamy. One of the best, if not the best self help relationship book on the market. Chapters dealing with all aspects of everyday relating to your partner of choice, don't let the title fool you, you don't need to be a s**t to gain essential insight into relationships of every kind.

Amazingly simplistic approach to a complex subject, written by people whose only qualifications are that "they did it." Themajor issue I have with the entire concept the book embraces is that there is one person - you - that deserves unlimited love and sexual pleasure, and all others that are within your life also deserve the same unlimited love and sexual pleasure. There is no regard for the value of "us", just "I", and no value for the length of time a relationship lasts either. While the author's recommendations for communication are solid, the basis on which their theory stands is weak, and is written with a patronizing tone. You either agree with us, or you are just not as evolved as we are. One day you might catch on.... Please. There are many more book with greater insight and better assistance than this one. Pass on this one and keep looking.

I realize this is pitched as sort of a "Bible" for poly folks, but it seems to state the obvious to me: values, standards, and norms -- especially those regarding sex, gender, sexuality, relationships, etc -- are culturally relative or entirely subjective in nature. There are no value "facts" empirically verifiable and testable by scientific means, which leaves an "each to their own" system, coupled with responsibility, accountability, and honesty (hence the ethical qualification). What is remarkably disturbing about the book is its inability to turn around and apply critical thinking and criticism of the poly lifestyle, vs. providing a laundry list and library of guidelines and prescriptions (which could have been done in 25% of the space). In this regard, it is more of a dogmatic manifesto, Beyond the easy to dismiss archaic and religious criticisms of polyamory, are the authors able to articulate any sociological, psychological, or cultural downfalls of the lifestyle, or is this merely a "Polyanna" perspective of Poly? ;-)

This book could basically be summed up by:1.) Have good communication skills with your partner2.) Be honest with your partner and just as importantly yourself3.) If you feel something, say something in a constructive, solutions oriented way (mayne a repeat of bullet 1.)4.) Do not feel pressure to act or feel a certain way (maybe a repeat of 2.)That's about it, in so many words.

Great book on polyamory and multiple love partners and monagamous relationships alike. This text incourages open communication and honesty that is lacking in many relationships.Will buy more books by this author.

Its a good book with a wonderful guide to how to live this live style. I would get this book if you want to try this life style out. Having rules, codes and guidelines is helpful for making this work.

I can't tell you how many of my partners have recommended this book, and it lives up to the hype! It explains everything in a way that's very easy to understand, and gives some great tips that work for both polyamorous and monogamous relationships.

Letterpress has historically been a male-dominated art form concentrated on a combination of paper, ink, wood or metal-cast type and heavy mechanical printing presses (with much of the dirty, laborious post-environmental print work maintained by hand). A new generation has continued with those same kind of machines, using modern technologies of polymer plates in tandem with digital software, and led by a younger, female leadership. Ladies of Letterpress by Kseniya Thomas & Jessica C. White (Princeton Architectural Press), is a stunning collection and celebration of the best letterpress art, illustration & design from members of an international organization championing the work of women printers (whose name adorns this book’s title). Packed in 11” x 14” space, complete with 86 removable posters, this high quality book serves to inform and inspire with detailed letterpress reproductions in all its numerous forms. From the typical broadside poster designs, to invitations, packaging, business cards, coasters, and gift tags, the almost 200-pages of printed delights definitely proves that print design is FAR from dead, and that crafts(wo)manship is very much alive and keeping very well.Each page features a single opening piece followed by a selection of works from a particular designer/print studio, accompanied by lively personal bios and a complete set of specs for each piece (print size, paper stock, type of press and number of colors). In-depth interviews are sprinkled throughout, sharing the motivations and challenges that attract these ladies to the letterpress world. Some personal favorites include work from US designer/educator/printmaker Joey Hannaford (of whom I had the pleasure of taking her lettering workshop) and unique pieces from Australian, Italian & Dutch designers. I’ve enjoyed reading many books about letterpress print design in recent years, but not one so consistently strong throughout, and one that utilized size and textural reproduction details so well. I don’t have to squint to take notice of all the textural nuances of letterpress, various printing techniques are clearly explained and demonstrated graphically (e.g. translucent layers of color create depth & tonal mixes), and I can practically smell the printing ink as I flip through. A great resource and visual celebration of what makes these ladies so passionate about print in the first place. Highly recommended and long overdue. I look forward to the 2nd edition!

I bought this book at an art store near SCAD. I love it. So many beautiful and inspiring prints. Highly recommended.

I am looking for a project or activity for my kids this summer and I got interested in this book. I read this book and I liked the content very much. The activities or project will surely be loved by my kids and making crafts like the ones in the book can be used in our bonding time. This book taught me how to do portable pop-up dolls house, finger painted hyacinth blossoms, easy 'stained' glass windows, blossoming branches, personalized painted mugs, finger print key rings and my favorite is bath bomb LOL. I feel like a kid now. Awesome work!

It is the rainy season here. Which means being trapped in side, often with frustrated and bored kids! Believe it or not they actually do get tired of video games and programs. This book was the go to for a recent rainy weekend and it saved the day! I almost remembered a recipe for homemade clay/dough. Fortunately before I made my best guess at the recipe we found one in here for homemade Play Dough. We also did the pirate cork boats and the Potato prints. I'm not going to say that these projects were without their clean up - I still have green on the back of my hand from where someone got a little crazy with the potato printing - but they did keep everyone occupied.

I had been trying to find some ideas of things to do to get my children away from electronics for the day and this book is exactly what I was looking for. The crafts within are educational, creative, fun, and not expensive to do. A lot of the projects use the same or similar supplies making it easy for you to make just one quick trip to Joann's or Hobby Lobby and have most everything you need for most of the projects. This is nice so that in the future when you want to do one of these projects you won't have to make an extra trip to the store first. A lot of reviews are complaining about a lack of pictures - For me personally, I didn't mind. I thought it made it more exciting not knowing what the finished product was going to look like!

Kids love to create their own project, but we adults should appreciate them. This book is a best way to enchant, challenge and inspire within your kids. Kids of all ages surely love all these projects in the book. Author has explained everything in very simple words. Help your kids with these projects. They will certainly love these exciting projects!

As expected.

This book is a concise overview of the subject. I'm sure a text could go into more of the physics behind the SEM and microprob, but this books purpose is to introduce the reader to the diverse geological applications of these tools. It is easily read and offers enough background to be useful in practice.

This book is great for someone who has a little background in physics and calculus. It gives a good breakdown of how the probe works and what kinds of analyses it works best for. This is not an in-depth book on quatitative analyses, but rather, an excellent place to start!

No doubt this is a 5 star book and I give it a 5 because it is simple, easy and to the point. This is one of the best and well written book about a man known as The Final Messenger of God in Islam, Muhammad (PBUH). I like the way this book was laid out and the chromo of is amazing. Highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to know facts about Muhammad (PBUH) who will read it with an open mind free of prejudice. Excellent resource but how am I to do research when the index topics do not hyperlink to the pages? I can’t just select a chapter to study but scroll and tediously search for it. Please fix this.

This book was worth every penny. The book not only goes into great detail of Prophet Muhammad (SA)'s life, but also also delves into what was happening before the Prophet's life. Pictures, maps, and drawings of the places that the Prophet was reported to have been are depicted which makes this purchase all the more better. I was also impressed with the condition in which this book was delivered to me. No bends, cracks, tears, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to not just ALL Muslims, but also to people of all religions and faiths in order to get a proper idea of how our Prophet (SA) lived his life.

The book has detailed maps and pictures of the important geographical areas and places. It traces the lineage of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. It gives important references of the events on the bottom of each page. I would highly recommend this book.

A detailed description about the life of prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him). Author has given broad view on how he wiped-out the pre-islamic tradition from an established society of Arabs fighting and struggling his own kin. Establishing the religion of Allah on earth again, portraying him as mercy to mankind from the God which is indeed true.

The book looks absolutely nothing like the picture.
